Consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren in the house!
After three years of fighting the good fight on behalf of consumers, I’m thrilled that Elizabeth Warren has been tapped by President Obama to become the interim leader of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Back in 2007, she wrote a wonderful article for democracyjournal.org calling for a bureau like this to be created. Here’s a passage:
